Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forest fires that, with proper Forest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!

Aren't those counties most affected extremely red counties? I lived in that area for a couple years and they are as conservative as it get. Trump about to change that lol.

as high as the taxes are there plus with the number of different taxes, they should be self sufficient by now. oh wait...

He should at least be concerned that he might piss off the new House minority leader who he needs to keep the caucus together through this shutdown. McCarthy's district wasn't the worst hit district but San Joaquin valley had fires.
