Another big difference between the two Walking Dead iterations is that Comic Sherry was still around after Negan was eventually defeated. Her relationship with Dwight was kaput, though, and it was hinted at that Sherry had previously chosen to become one of Negan's wives. So comic Sherry is dead. I guess they could have TV Sherry come along, since Dwight's story can be anything they want it to be now, but if it's all leading to the movies, they might do a Rick/Dwight story from the comics. That's a big potential TV/movie spoiler, so I won't go there.

Dwight is definitely not fighting the Whisperers in Texas, though.
