While I agree with the overall sentiment, I can say (and please don't ask me specifics because I can't say) - some of you guys would be very surprised by the opportunities Dell has had so far to make moves and he has resisted. So far, he is only willing to part with the pick for a "star" and has resisted some trades for some pretty good players who could help now but aren't stars.

So I am kind of optimistic. That said, another three or four losses and he could panic. But so far, he's been smart about this

This is good.. As much as I like them, a Bazemore or Hareison Barnes wont come in here and turn things around.. Get us to the playoffs sure, but I still think we can make the playoffs with the current roster if healthy

Let's not use real names.

If he had offers, but none were for stars I would assume that Schmradley Schmeal or Schmohn Schmall weren't involved.

Use the same code talk I'm using and let us know who was discussed.

That’s cool and all, but he shouldn’t even be allowed to make these decisions in the first place.

So he is swinging for the fences then. I guess that is the smart thing to do in an attempt to keep AD.

In your opinion (and not based on anything that Dell is attempting), would someone like Beal be in that "star" category? Do you think the Pelicans could have the assets to acquire someone like him?
