I have been on Keto and IF for the past month. Down 15 pounds. But that’s not the best part. The best part is I no longer feel tired. I have so much more energy. My glucose stays below 100 even after eating. My hair is growing back and crazy as it seems, my feet are no longer dry or cracking. Oh yeah NO MORE NIGHT SWEATS!!!!

Not gonna say it’s a miracle diet but holy hell i feel like it’s reversing my type 2

It is! There is documented evidence of the ketogenic diet reversing T2 diabetes in several subjects. The diet or as I like to call it WOE is lifesaving. Welcome to the team. Let me know if you have any questions or anything else!

If it's sustainable for you and you're making that kind of progress, keep going.

I can see why keto principles would be good for type ii. Good for you, man. Good luck.

I do low-carb (nont strictly keto) with IF to control blood sugar - fellow Type 2 here. Sadly, I've heard of nutritionists that will recommend that T2's increase their carb intake which is rediculous (usually in the form of telling people to eat a ton of whole grains and fruits).

Funny thing is I travel a ton for work, and even when eating most of my meals in restaurants. This includes internationl - England is the toughest place for me so far. I'm able to keep my weight and blood sugar control in line just by picking the lowest carb thing on the menu.

I really wish it was standard of care to prescribe a constant blood glucose monitor when one is diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. So much shite could be solved with just that.
