Anybody else aware about this website? Family member was talking about it at Christmas. This company mines all the public info they can find on you, creates a profile, and publishes it for whoever looks you up to see. I pulled up mine - past/present addresses, email addresses, employer/salary (way off-wish I made what this site says I do), links to other family members profiles, make and model of what cars I own.
I sent them an email last night telling them to delete my page, and they refused saying if I wanted to have my profile deleted I would need to buy an annual membership that amounts to over $100. Wtf?

Yeah I’ve seen it before, usually cracks me up because it’s either crazy accurate or extremely out of whack
I used to work partially as a collector and you would google people and that website would pop up on people who couldn’t pay their bills and it would say “2.3/6 Below average person” or something like that
At the same time it would say that person brings home 100k-150k annually which was not close to being true

Yeah i'm not a fan of the govt putting my info out there, they require you give them, for others to use. Kind of hard to truly combat identity theft when the govt does this.

I am shockingly rated as a 4.2 out of 5.

It could not find me. Looks like my anti social media stance is paying off.

I was able to find a phone number...Called and bitched at them and they took my info down. This was about a year ago.

I'm a 4.47/5.
Some of this stuff is accurate but a lot of it isn't.

Mine says I am married and am worth $250,000 - $500,000.
I wish that were true.

Reminds me of that Black Mirror episode.
For me, that's the most terrifying episode of the series.

I used to hate having a common name but it pays off these days. I can't ever find myself on these things without entering a bunch of details.

any website that features a loading bar for "gathering known information on the web/dark web" about myself is a joke
at what point does it ask me for money? Because I know it's coining

They have vehicles listed for me that I haven't owned in years. Most of the stuff they have that's correct is pretty readily available public information - political affiliation, address, age etc.
I've never worked for the company that they list even though that would be easily pulled from Linkedin.

Every time I see these commercials I’m just waiting on the news article about some of the dark web dudes shutting down their site or leaking some shite from those companies or something just to be a dick
