Commissioner won't pay up

The other finalist and I are splitting the pot. I let the commissioner know about it on Tuesday, and now it Friday and he still won't venmo the money. Should I lawyer up?
Update: He spent the pot and said to wait until his next paycheck. Is this typical of a commissioner?

He should withhold the money until after the season is over, even if you have both agreed to split. Wait until after this weekend before freaking out

I prefer a modified payout if the difference between first and second is massive but I'm not sure I'd ever agree to a straight 50/50 chop. It's (hopefully

More information is needed. Are you saying he just hasn't gotten around to it, or did he explicitly say he's not going to send it? Big difference there. Jumping straight to lawyering up is going to destroy any friendship you might have, so might want to give him the benefit of the doubt if you're not sure.
