Yes, the cliche/term "band geek" is funny. Band does attract some geeks. But my cousin was in band, and my nephew was too - both are get down bloods...hehehe

They really do exist in college. I spent a semester doing it. Marching band was probably a 75/25 split. 75% band geeks, and 25% get drunk off your arse.
The concert band was like 99/1. The 1 was me. I didn't last long.
