Personally, I don't see how you charge a bartender with a crime for doing their jobs. It seems like the next step is for people to start suing the place where the person got drunk.

If this is going to continue being the norm then bars are going to have to employ "exit bouncers" that don't let people leave the bar if they're too drunk to drive unless they have a DD or are taking a cab/uber.
