Not my first trip as I am a native New Orleanian, but while in HS we were out on Bourbon and this extremely trashy dude with neck tats is hammered out of his mind, he stumbles into a guy and girl and the guy just turns around and decks him, knocks him out cold.

Guy goes face down in the middle of the street into a huge pile of trampled horse shite. He's out cold for awhile and people are just walking around him.

When he finally comes to he starts doing snow angels in the horseshite.

Good times.

Not my first trip, but my fiance at the time, now wife’s, first trip. We went down for a weekend get away. First evening we were there and we decided to walk down to the French quarter and get something to eat and just look around. She wanted to see bourbon street. When we turned on bourbon the first thing we see are two guys holding hands in Speedo’s and Dr. Suess hats. Being from very conservative, small town you could imagine the look on our faces. We continued our stroll through the French quarter and seen more interesting sights. We eat and go back to the hotel and learn that it is southern decadence weekend. A memory we will never forget.
