Yeah, neighbors at my lake live in AK full time. Come down during the winter. She always complains the cold is different. She doesn't say colder, just the humidity makes the cold stick.

i love those shows and the terrain, but i couldnt be that isolated and a 5 hour plane ride back to the states.
I would need to be more centralized because i like to travel too much.
