So I wouldn't treat John James losing as expected in MI as some weird victory dance

Its disappointing for sure. The culture has to change first. What good does voting for a small government conservative do when you are still trapped in government dependency? Someone else is gonna get that tax cut...someone else is gonna start that business...someone else is gonna have more opportunity.

Blacks apparently dont believe they are can start successful businesses, get great jobs and thrive in a great economy. IMO the only venue conservatives have left is to stop apologizing, stop making excuses for black people and attack the culture of victimhood with full force.

It was never going to be a win. The win is that he gained a similar cult of notoriety that Puto O'Rourke did on the Dem side. Anyone expecting or hoping for more was way off base.

Precisely. And that type of change takes a longer period of time than assuming a newcomer will unseat a longtime incumbent due to a catchy hashtag.

I've been wanting to see this happen for decades now. I have no idea how to accomplish it without someone committing political suicide in the short term and going into the ghettos and pointing out how all of them are being treated like cattle. It would almost have to be someone like Trump - with enough charisma and credibility but not owing any of it to PC rhetoric or political connections, and who doesn't give a rat's arse about political fallout.

Tall order, but has to be done - the longer it takes the tougher it will be.

not a promising prospect
