In a 12 team league where playoff seeding tiebreaker was changed to H2H record instead of Total points like it's always been. Top 6 teams make playoffs. I ended up in 7th place and didn't get in. The team that got the 6th seed only got in cuz he beat me in week 4. We had the same record and I outscored him by almost 60 points on the season. I cant help but feel like I got severely hosed. I would be in the semis right now if I had made the playoffs instead (6th seed team is currently in semis). Thoughts? How does your league settle tiebreakers for final seeding?

If it was changed before the season, you didn't get hosed. That said, I prefer total points. But, I've played in both kinds of leagues.

Why did it get changed from points to H2H? Was it something that was voted on or did the commish just decide to change it without consulting anyone?

Both of my leagues have been doing total points for the past 10 years or so. It was H2H before that in one league but everyone preferred total points.

In one league, total points for the regular season gets their money back (other league does a weekly points champ for $25). I like that and also for tiebreaker purposes. Gives me more reason to root for my guys on MNF even if I've already won or lost.
