I was just referring back to your post about letting them make their own decisions on what they believe.

My parents absolutely left no doubt as to what was right or wrong and I was forced to go to church and CCD for years. So I know how that goes.

No. It's brainwashing if you force the child to throw reason and logic out the window.

It would be brainwashing for me to convince my kids that the dishwasher is actually a time machine that they can only activate when they are an adult. But, it's not brainwashing to teach my kids how to use the dishwasher and put away clean dishes.

I mean, I firmly believe a life loving Jesus is the only way to true and lasting happiness. Why would I NOT tell the people I love the most about it? I can't force them to believe it, but it's something you have to share.
