I've been doing it for over a year, but obviously part time. I couldn't imagine doing it full time long term.

One thing I'm a little annoyed with that you may can help me understand. My wife just showed me that for our rides last night they put a $2.80 "toll/surcharge" on our total. In looking up that it says in addition to tolls, it is used to cover going to and from events where Uber would have to reimburse governments, etc for doing business.
I saw later down that it said the fee may be added even if the fee is not imposed on Uber.

So I'm assuming taking a ride from out house to City Park is not something that Uber has to reimburse any government?? I just hope it goes to the driver if so.

No huge deal as our rides were paid for by my wife's company and one would have been $9 and the other $12.

Beats the hell out of driving and in many cases paying for parking.
