It happens to all of us if we are lucky enough to live long.
I admire how he has used his age and the mindset of his generation in his later films. Movies like Gran Torino, Trouble With the Curve, and from the looks of it, this new one - The Mule.
It's pretty impressive how he can adapt his talent to make quality movies at all points in his life.
