Get a Winco heavy duty stock pot.... mine is 5mm (3/16") thick, plenty good enough for a good gumbo. I cook white beans and red beans in it too.

Chedballz I have Winco but this time I purchased a Johnson~Rose 6 mm heavy duty 14 qt from Caire Rest. Supply.
I fought myself from buying the 17” Lodge cast iron round skillet. Needed to stay focus.
Edit: Correction from my earlier post- Magnalite is great! I have some. My interest changed as I wanted something else. Taller versus wider or wider vs. taller. When I go shopping I see the Magnalite rip offs that have been copied in China. What I have read is Magnalite is out of business so I have moved on. Maybe this is why the Chinese copy cats.
