Typically, playing a receiver against the Bills’ defense is a bad move, as Tre’Davious White has locked down some of the best pass-catchers in the game this season. With rookie Levi Wallace emerging as an excellent cover man, as well, this seems to be a foolish recommendation. However, White has struggled a bit over his last two games, and Buffalo has allowed three different receivers—Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker of the Miami Dolphins, and Robby Anderson of the New York Jets—to catch touchdown passes and score double-digit fantasy points over the last two weeks. At 6’4,” Golladay is a tough mark for Buffalo’s corners, none of whom stand taller than Wallace at 6’ even. The big man averages 7 targets, 4 catches, and 66 receiving yards per game. Those aren’t great numbers, but if you’re in a PPR league, that’s 10.6 points, which is more than worth starting as a flex play. Add in the touchdown potential, especially if Buffalo’s special teams continues to allow teams to capitalize on short fields, and Golladay could be in line for a big day.
