I back in, but it's a "whatever the situation requires" kind of thing.

This/\ I will pull forward into most open lot parking spaces, but occasionally back in. Now, if parallel parking, it's almost always back and cut into the spot since I drive a full size pickup and there's hardly enough room to pull into spots along the curb going forward.
