Looking for boykin spaniel puppies

Been looking at the breed for a while and would like to add a Boykin puppy to the house. Anyone know of any breeders within 3 or 4 hours of baton rouge.

No official breeders around but couple of local people who do litters. Choupiquesushi is one...

I have a male and a female, male is 4, female just turned 2 will breed her at some point soon(depending on when her next heat cycle falls in regard to timing with national open FT) Have bred my male a couple of times and have a breeding scheduled soon(depending on heat cycle timing of female). I am aware of quality litters near and far

Whats do Boykins typically run cost wise?

well bred 800 - 1500. top of the line bred with all health clearances 1500 and up(just like any other field dog).
sure is nice with a 45lb or 28lb dog in a pirouge.

Our 3 y/o male was about #35 before he spent 3 weeks on "vacation" at my mom's house this summer.
"From the field to the family room," they're great dogs.

My wife (who does most of the vacuuming) would beg to differ.
Seriously tho. Out here were we have a cold winter and warm summer, ours goes through two "bad" shedding times each year when he loses is summer/winter coats. Regular brushing really cuts down on it. Other than having to cut out occasional tangles under the ears, or cockle-burs they aren't much maintenance in the grooming dept.
Be careful with their ears tho, ours has a tendency to get funky ears if we don't get them fully dry after he gets wet/goes swimming.

My wife didn't have inside dogs growing up...
Before I got married, I lived with a dude that had a yellow lab. That dog shed like CRAZY.
