Aside from the obvious wins/losses, what has been the biggest surprise for you this season?

For me it has to be the play of Patrick Queen. 31 tackles on the year does not tell the entire story of what he has meant to the defense in his sophomore season.

Lack of pass rush with Chaisson out.

Von Rosenberg - consistently solid

Cushenberry- consistently solid

Fournette- a surprise because he should have gotten way more touches.

This was surprising. Even before Fehoko went down, it was almost non existent. Fehoko could be another candidate for biggest surprise. I don’t think anyone really knew what we were getting in him.

Fulton probably exceeded expectations. He played really well down the stretch.

Delpit we knew would be good but he had an insane season

Makes you wonder why the offensive staff didn’t do things to make their job easier, doesn’t it?

Positives:

LB play outside of D White... knew it would be solid but we are looking great at this position for a while

Jacoby Stephens emerging

Lenard Fournette being our best back by years end

Throttling Georgia

Negatives:

Online being completely overwhelmed at times

WRs and the drops

No special teams TD

So you've never commented on a certain punt returner?

C'mon man!

1. Stomping Georgia surprised me.
2. Not scoring on Bama surprised me.
3. I figured we would use the tight ends more in the passing game.
4. Our kick/punt return game is the worst I've seen here in a long while.
5. QB running successfully was a nice surprise.

Cole Tracy's incredible reliability.

Based on this board no. A lot of posters were acting like by him playing it gave LSU an extra win or two. If anything he under-performed the expectations of the board.

The biggest surprise to me was how bad of an OC Steve E really is. I didn’t think he would be good but I didn’t think he would be this bad.

The TE usage is maddening. Seemed like every time Moreau had a big play or was consistently open, Ensminger went a different direction. It was like he ran things to see if they would work and when they did, he just put a little check mark next to them and went to something else.

Fulton playing so well considering he missed a year and that opposing QBs rarely throw at Greedy on the other side.

Consistency at kicker

How bad Miami and Auburn turned out to be

The offense wasn't even fully developed at the beginning of the season. Rohan discussed why the offense struggled in his interview yesterday.
