Play that takes no time off clock?

The ball was snapped at 1 second, then spiked at 1 second, and review gives them second back.
How TF is there a play that takes no time off the clock?
I realize clock was at 1 on the initial spike, but still that's a play that took no time off the clock.

Time still exists while the game clock shows 1 second. Can you do something within one second?

I was more upset about the 4th and 17 or whatever it was. I thought he was short. They didn't review or measure it.

You realize the clock reads 1 after it goes under two and it could be anywhere from 1.9 sec down to 1.0

Read this article from 2009 (exactly 9 years ago) and tell me that it does not bring flashbacks to the same play situation. Obviously, it didn't work on LSU's favor on both games. I find this incredible as I type this.

Check out 1:23 in regulations. Two plays were run and the clock showed 1:23 for each of them.

Wasnt that similar to the Auburn game in 16.
LSU snapped the ball and scored the game winning TD but after review they said there was 1 second on the clock and it wasnt possible to get a snap off in 1 second?
