It doesn’t matter if it was on purpose. 10/10 situations like that are never on purpose. The fact still remains that in college football, a knee down on any play other than the holder on field goals is down. It was the right call, no matter how much we hate it.

We need to quit blaming one play on why we lose the game. There were frickups by the refs, the staff, and the players.

- Giles muffing the punt was huge.
- The refs calling an awful game was huge (knee down wasn’t one of those calls).
- Ensminger calling 3 runs on a row was questionable.
- Aranda not blitzing on 3rd and forever is a monemental frick up.
- One of the most reliable kickers we’ve ever had missed a field goal.
- Receivers dropping ball after ball is probably the most infuriating part of the game for me. It’s never fricking ending.
- Both defenses were gassed in OT.
- The bullshite targeting call on Philips.
- Missing Joseph, Fulton, and Fehoko hurt BADLY.

Stop blaming one fricking call on us lose, especially a correct one. There were plenty of other calls to bitch about.

You realize this makes no difference? If any part of the body (besides hands) touches the ground the ball carrier is down.
