Lots of colleges and universities have the same(or similar) colors as UW. But I think that (almost)no other university uses our shades of purple and "gold". Therefore our unis are distinctive and immediately recognizable.

Saints are khaki. They used to be gold.

Northern Iowa and East Carolina come to mind.
