I know that question sounds stupid, but apparently he is in the running for the Ireland job, which at the very least is on par with us.
And he speaks english which is apparently Earnie's biggest quality he's looking for.

I’m not so sure I’d want Zidane.
His trophy haul at Madrid was obviously historic, but for whatever reason I feel like he was there for the ride more than he was leading his players to the titles.

I'm sure many people could have won some titles with that team, but he managed personal exceptionally well. They have a lot of strong personalities that he kept in check, as well as rolling out multiple lineups that all played very well. Madrdid wasn't losing 3-0 to Eibar with Zidane at the helm.
