Keep in mind the new model sig versions have a few different modes - one being ‘average’ which means if you range a deer at 250 yards and hold down the button, it takes multiple measurements per second and gives you the average after you release, meaning even if you happen to range over him for a split second, it won’t mess up your true distance. Huge advantage over many one click - one range models.
Also, it does angle calculations which is big for me bow hunting - if I’m in my tree stand it accounts for the angle and gives me a true reading. I used it Saturday to stick a nice buck!
