Expect this to be the trend all winter for south Texas north to the Great Lakes and eastward. Well below average temps expected through the eastern half of the US and well above average in the western half.
This is due to an El Niño pattern setting up that has caused a deep dip in the jet stream across the plains extending down to Texas. This will funnel cold arctic air down to the northeastern, Great Lakes, and southeastern US on top of the 11 year solar cycle being in the year of least solar activity. It’s a combination of events leading to possibly a record setting cold winter in the eastern half of the US

And global temperatures overall are expected to be a couple of degrees above normal. Making this post completely irrelevant concerning climate change.

I can’t believe Brown blames the fires on climate change as if “warm and dry” hasn’t been southern California’s climate forever

Still no snow here in Anchorage. Not a global warming activist by any means, but we can do this all everyday talking about it be cold somewhere and warm somewhere else. Pointless.
The NW US and Alaska will be very above average this winter in regards to temperature for reasons I stated above

It's been warmer consistently over the past 15 some odd years and the wet season has been coming a little later than normal more frequently. Puts summertime heat and dry in place for when Santa Ana type events get going.
It's not the cause exactly, but that trend certainly increases the likelihood of devistating fires.

Pretty sure I read on here that Tuba murdered his wife and then ate a bullet himself

Tuba was married to a woman?

No sir, apparently you struggle to understand. Global warming/MMCC is horseshite, you need to accept reality
I'm not an alarmist or anything but it takes a really slow person to not understand that changing the composition of the atmosphere will change the climate.

It’s global cooling!

You do realize that climate change occurred for billions of years before humans existed, right?

Holy shite, I hope this isn't true.

And it will continue to change for billions of years when we are gone. That is irrelevant.. unless you think that people are arguing that the climate has never changed before?
The debate and research is centered around the impact anthropogenic activities have on that change.
Even among scientists who say mankind is not a significant factor.. few (if any) deny that we play no role at all

The Left said anecdotal evidence was proof of Global Warming, but only until anecdotal evidence proves them wrong.

On a serious note - as a fairly bright guy, I budge a bit on climate change - but honestly we have zero clue as to why there might be some registered amounts over the last century or so. It is most likely natural.
I’m not sold on man-made global warming. However I see no need to push the envelope on things. I’m all for more solar and wind power - as well as for reducing carbon emissions and dirty air from our beautiful planet.
Keeping our world clean should not be a political point - but we make it for some odd reason.

What were you saying in the Jonestown thread about cults and the left NOT following them?

These threads really make this board seem stupid. Intellectually challenged. Y’all want so bad for the rest of the world and the overwhelming majority of scientists to be lying. It’s sad because until 2010ish most republicans actually gave a shite about the environment instead of opposing green policies just because the left supports them.

Remember when conservatives didn’t shite on the environment just because it would own the libs
