The perfect season for too many LSU fans is an undefeated season where they win the national championship with their backup QB and fire the head coach at the end of the year.

And that is an obvious lie, and an excellent way to render your self-righteous views as meaningless and hypocritical.

Here's the thing: I am not offended if you think everything is rosy and bright with this team. It doesn't affect me, whatsoever. You, on the other hand, are so sure that you are morally above it all, that you can just call anybody out who has an analytical viewpoint of the game, rather than just blind fandom.

And you are so hell bent on this initiative, that you will make up a scenario that is completely unrealistic. Ed Orgeron didn't take over a dumpster fire. He took over for a guy who was fired for the very reasons that Orgeron is criticized. He has lots of talent, and the program just stays in neutral. If he takes it out of neutral, and proves he can consistently compete with the best, then people will believe in him.

this doesn't describe me. i gave up on miles after the a&m post game press conference. i am on the fence about o pending how he handles the o line, if he gets a real oc and finds receivers that are more consistent.

what i want is an offense that looks like the better offenses in the country (who, btw, have significantly less talent). i want an offense that looks similar to the defense. right now, lsu is in the bottom half of almost every category in conference games. it's inexcusable and everyone knows it. despite the national skepticism, lsu fans were full of confidence because they knew the tigers finally had a qb to match the rest of the talent so what i don't understand is why people are making excuses. just call it what it is.

in your opinion, is it acceptable for the offense, given the current personnel, to be in the bottom half of the conference is almost every statistic for conference games?
