Your Sports Team....Would You Prefer Being Blown Out/Close Game?

Would you rather have your team lose in a blow out, or a down to the wire? At least with the blow out you know it's already over. Either way sucks because it's a loss, but is one better than the other? I'd probably choose blow out so I wouldn't have to bite my fingernails the last quarter of the game. Thoughts?

Blowouts are easier to deal with. Losing last second is worst feeling. To this day I can not stand to rewatch the game vs Bradley in MVC Semi because of Deion Jackson’s wring way wrong handed turnaround lucky shot. One of sickest feelings I’ve had walking off field
That and getting jobbed vs oSu in FBS first ever OT game

Last second loss. It means that the game was competitive and entertaining.

I felt the same way with the 2013 Iron Bowl.

Last second.
21-0
10-0
29-0
If fate takes notre dame down, Michigan down, okies down and LSU is 4 seed vs Bama I'd rather it be decided on last play...

How perfect that a fricking Alabama fan would ask this question. Maybe you'll tell us which you actually prefer in 10 years, the next time Alabama has a blowout loss.
With that off my chest, I prefer the close loss. You only get 35-45 hours of your team each year, I'd rather not have 2 of those hours being a depressing slog. Unfortunately, that's what we had in the Michigan game this year.

Kinda depends. Regular season give me entertainment. I don’t know how I keep going after 28-3 and the NC game last year

Gimme the blow out. Every time.
Close games and you're replaying every missed opportunity in your mind and that's on top of the heartbreak of losing in the first place. I can get past blowouts easily because the other team was just obviously better. Close losses can scar you if you're not careful.
The only reason I can watch a replay of the 2013 NBA Finals is because SA got revenge the very next year. Prior to that I almost wanted to give up following basketball

Can y'all finally feel for me?
Man Alabama hasn't been beat by more than 14 since 2006.
All these losses are so close.
They hurt, guys

I did say sports teams...I didn't specify which sports.

Ha if you think that's dark as him about the 2013 Iron Bowl.

At least we sorta broke even.
If you count the Mavs taking year 1
Which, was probably also a dark night for you

Since you follow the Hoops.....Wouldn't you agree that the Warriors actually have the most competition this year then they have had for awhile? I keep telling people I wouldn't be surprised they don't win it all this year. They are starting to show cracks.
