Most of the area kids can't get in because of academics. Tulane doesn't give many academic exemptions to their football team.
Tulane belongs in the Southland Conference. They would have success there.

I’d rather be in the cellar of the AAC than the top of the Southland.
And Tulane certainly doesn’t belong in the Southland. They have nothing in common with any of those schools
