They are getting awful picky about their living arrangements, having come from oppressive living conditions. 

Again, I'm sure there are some great people in that caravan, who have been misled and risked everything to better the lives of their families. That's the real shame here.

Not a lot to disagree with here. That may surprise you.

We send missionaries all across the globe to try and help some of the poorest and "oppressed" on the planet.

The sad part is that while you want to help them all you just can't. There isn't enough time or resources to do it.

We are very lucky to call this place home and I hope we don't make mistakes that will ruin what we have because without us the world is worse off.
