68 Games Remaining... How I See It

Overall, I can’t complain about how the season has started. We’re sitting at .500, not bad considering the injuries.
Initially, I was concerned with if we properly replaced Rondo. I think we have. With Payton and Holiday serving as ballhandlers, I don’t think there’s an urgency to add another PG at this time. Clark and Frazier are effective as third-string ballhandlers. If we added another PG we’ll have to play Moore at SF, I think that’s counterproductive. Just like we have PF and C covered with the 3 man rotation of AD/ Mirotic/ Randle, I think we have PG and SG covered with the 3 man rotation of Holiday/ Payton/ Moore.
The team doesn’t need any more guards, we’re very solid at SG. Holiday and Moore has the position covered. Moore has been forced to play SF but he is really a SG. At SG, he’s strong for the position and gets into the lane with ease. At SF, he’s undersized and expected to do too much defensively. Jackson is effective in mop-up duty at SG; I think he can be a rotation fixture in the future.
The only thing we need to do is solidify the SF position without creating another hole on the roster. Wesley Johnson can give us backup minutes at the position; we need a starting caliber SF to be a real threat. The expendable assets we have are Solomon Hill, Miller, Williams, and draft picks. This should be enough to acquire someone. Before you start talking shite, remember Asik and a 1st got us Mirotic. Solo is bad; he’s way better than Asik. I think we have the assets to get someone like: Ross, Holiday, Kidd-Gilchrist, Oubre Jr., TJ Warren, Josh Jackson.

Terrance Ross has been playing very well lately.
He's only 27.
If it was possible to swap Wesley for Ross, giving them a 2nd, that would be awesome.

Call me crazy but I actually think Wes is our answer at SF. We don't need a guy who wants to come in and shoot the ball 11-12 times a game. We need a guy who ONLY wants to play hard defense, rebound and be enough of a threat from outside that we get a little spacing---I think Wes is that player

For Ross, I would give Solo and a protected 1st. I prefer to keep Wesley. He plays a position of need and has an expiring contract. Why would you want to include the only SF we have on the roster in a trade? That doesn't seem well thought out. You want to give up Wesley, picks, and still have Solo's contract for a backup on the Magic for half a season?

Whatever we do, in these last 68 games we need to go at a minimum 43-25, whatever we gotta do to make that happen..
Although, no matter what we do, if AD keeps playing half assed every other game, we will be a .500 team and miss the playoffs
