What’s the deal with him being committed to ATM? Dudes a monster man. IMO he’s one that’s going to bite us if we let him go. Talk about a jack of all trades. We need to pull out all the stops to get this kid here. Or is he one of the kids that just wants out of La?

Athletes vs football players in specific spots of need. That’s the question imho. I agree he will be a good player.

He’s like he could be a DW type LB with the speed he displays and play recognition. Get him on campus then figure out where to put him afterwards.

Monster is an understatement. Something has to be going on behind the scenes for us to be showing no more interest in him than we are.

I know his dad. He’s an engineer at the Exxon refinery. Talked to him about the commitment to Aggie. Christian is a pretty smart kid like his dad. He’s not a “football only” type of kid. Aggie’s academics and network helped get him.
Downvote away but it is what it is.

It’s funny how you folks act like children when the answers or responses aren’t what you want to hear.

Some of this might be true but he desperately wants a Bama offer which nullifies some of what you said.

So does every senior highschool player in the country, but they still don't get one. He is a good player, but at the position he wants to play in college we have better committed and so does Bama

We have better committed??? I would take Harris over Starks and McCallum. But that’s just my preference.

Harris has never once played linebacker, we took pure linebackers who have shown they can play at a high leverl, it's that simple. We and even Alabama at one point felt like he isn't a LB on this level.
He plays WR and CB, going to be a huge transition for him to get on the field in the SEC at LB.

Texas A&M is the only school that has offered him as a WR. LSU staff really likes him as LB but that's not the position he wants to play.
Dunno how many times i gotta explain this

The complete opposite of this is true. LSU and Bama originally offered on offense, h-back. A&M was the only one to offer at LB.
He wants to play LB so he's going to aTm. Bama warmed up to the idea of him playing LB, but we haven't. Bama ahsnt really recruited him for a while (nor have we).

It's never been committable and it's been noted Harris tried to commit there once before and was denied.

I just don't think he's going to be that great of a linebacker.
I'm not an expert, but he seems to have a hard time changing direction (agility) and doesn't have great instincts.
Straight line speed, size, etc. all say he'd be a good LB, but I just don't see it on film.

So now you're proving you have no idea who Harris is and what he plays much less will play next year. He plays corner. YES we have a better commit. That's all

I can believe all of this but I was under the belief he wanted to play corner and both us and bama don't have him rated as high as what we have committed.
