Was here and hunted (larger boat) considered not going wind was that bad. We got off main pass and saw someone shoot two flares. Called coast guard as no way we could get there. Still haven’t heard what happened with them. They are still flying over my camp looking for the fort Jackson group. Sad deal

Saw a seatow post on FB of them pulling out a mudboat that sank of Baptiste.

I was down in Venice by the river pilots a few years when they pulled 2 guys out the river. Not worth it to even try crossing the river in a mud boat in these types of conditions.
