Or put with more nuance, the difference in practice between our two parties on issues like homeland security, national debt, the economy and education are minimal relative to the difference on abortion.
I actually almost voted Democrat for the governor race (normally vote R), because the Republican candidate had what I perceived to be a terrible stance on school taxes that would directly affect my kids. Then I noticed that he supports late term abortion... I could not in good conscience pull the lever who supports late term abortion. That is beyond reprehensible.
