It sounds like we play a lot of dangerous teams that can beat us but will not necessarily appear to be a great win if we come out on top.

Just because you dont understand the good and not good teams in basketball doesn't mean the people who matter don't.

There are 351 Division I basketball teams, looking at a pre-season Top 25 is downright stupid in determining quality opponents. There's a Top 25 in CFB for a total of 130 teams, use the same ratio in basketball and it should be a Top 68. We will be playing a lot of quality teams and early on.

It's more important to have Top 50 and Top 100 RPI wins at the end of the season. Yes, maybe UNC Greensburg or St. Mary's isn't in the AP poll rankings to make it seem sexy, however, that's not what matters to the selection committee. It's RPI & SOS, and our OOC schedule will be just fine when you add it to the stacked conference schedule that we have. The entire SEC upping their scheduling will help all the teams in the league at the end of the year.
