It would bring me great joy to see this happen. The whole college football nation would owe LSU one.
I’m sick of the media hype, the bullshite calls they get away with etc. I would love to see the face of Big Eared Finebaum after a win for LSU. It would be almost as good as his face after we beat Bama in 2016.

If LSU beats Alabama this weekend, that's probably the highest likelihood for Clemson playing them in the first round of the playoffs.
I would think you would be pulling for them to win out so they stay at 1 and Clemson stays at 2, forcing them to have to beat Georgia in the SEC Championship game and another top team in the first round of the playoffs.

However, in my opinion, that game was the beginning Clemson's very impressive run. I was so mad when y'all beat us. How could we lose to CLEMSON?! But the years after that loss proved y'all were no cupcake.

I was at the 2014 game in Baton Rouge. My family is from NOLA, huge LSU fans. Awesome place and in my top 5 game day environments.

Sorry to break this to you but Finebaum is on your team. He borderline hates Alabama since he is a UT alum. And as you may have heard there is a bit of hard feelings between those two rivals whose victories run crazy streaks and it is about time for the switch back to UT to occur.
He, as you may figure out long term, loves money more than he hates Bama. And he answers and works for the SEC since his buddy, the deceased great commissioner, Mike Slive, gave him the gold mine he now enjoys promoting the SEC. So pick another lost cause to push. Like maybe CNN is a world leader in NEWS REPORTING. The one you ignorantly are now espousing is dead in the water.

Who cares? Probably Clemson first and foremost.
If Auburn didn't beat Alabama last year, then Alabama goes on to the SEC Championship Game limping with all those injuries at their LB spot, only 1 week of rest to prepare for Georgia, in the Georgia Dome. Georgia would have knocked them off in Atlanta and eliminated them from the playoff picture.
Instead, Auburn beats Alabama, Alabama gets a bye week, rests and avoids playing Georgia, gets a month off, gifted the #4 seed and annihilates Clemson in the first round of the playoffs.
So yea, my guess is Clemson fans should prefer Alabama win this weekend so at least they have to win the SEC Championship and play a first round playoff game instead of a repeat of last year.
