Agreed. These aren’t the people we want to affiliate with. May agree with a lot of what they say but the perceived aliiance with these over the top groups damages the progress that 2016 was all about.
Fight the ban from a freedom of speech standpoint but don’t be seen aligning with them, there’s better ways to advance the cause. Definitely light the fire under twitters feet for the ban, but if a lib group were to be stand up for them too.

I find people who say stuff like this don’t actually know about the proud boys or Gavin Mcinnes. Most of what they say wouldn’t have been considered even remotely controversial 10 years ago. The line has been artificially shifted so far that now they are viewed as “extreme”, and when you buy into that narrative, you’re complicit in letting the Left dictate how the middle is defined.
