Can someone please provide a shortlist of areas that dont require a parking pass on/off-campus and the times I need to be there before they usually fill up?

Nothing is free. You’ll have to bring your own breathing supply of air as well.

You need to park in the free lots the night before a Bama game or send a pledge to camp out and hold your spot

It's 1 mile to stadium, free and safe to park on the right of way of streets in this neighborhood. Get there 6+ hrs before kickoff for a spot. Very quick access to 10 after the game as well.

Is it really worth parking miles from the stadium and running the risk of getting towed? Just park and pay man. There's a ton of places that are $20. If you are going to try for the free parking I would get there a hell of a lot earlier than the poster above me said. 6 hours before kickoff? At noon there's not going to be any parking spots. I'd say at a minimum before 8am.

Also here ya go

It's an enjoyable (long) walk, and you'll be in great position with the outgoing traffic.

park here: University Hills subdivision off Highland

There's always parking available within this very safe neighborhood. It takes about 25-30 min to walk to the stadium from there, but as I pointed out, it's an easy walk.

Wrong choice of words. I meant areas that dont require a parking pass.

I know a secret parking spot that is close, free and available on game day. I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you.

Parker Coliseum is my go-to but you're going to have to be there around 7AM and you'll still be searching for a spot.

How are you parking in there? I stayed in an airbnb in there but I didn't see areas I would say you could just throw your car in and leave. It's a pretty tight area and I bet homeowners would have you towed. ??

I really wish LSU published this information on something like an official athletics website. Seems like this would be super helpful.......

I don't know if it would technically be 'legal' for them to do that but then again Riverside doesn't seem to give a damn about legality in car removal.

I'm not sure I would want to take than chance even if I proved it to be illegal later. Too much headache.

If there are not signs indicating you need something like a neighborhood permit, then street parking is fair game. You can't legally tow someone just because they parked in front of your house along a public street.

I studied that photo for a good 2 minutes before realizing where your check mark was.

Silly goose.

I've been parking there for years and have had no problems at all.
