While that's a huge misstep on her part, she's a usual sensible Republican voice in the sea of crazy right and left voices. Bonus points for being black and a woman too.

Oh Please. All she does is recycle right wing talking points. And the irony is even you know why she's popular. She's a black conservative cheerleader.
Look, their is nothing wrong with her being conservative. Most logical people (on both sides) dont care. What some may care about is that similar to other commentators, is that she never presents how the GOP will actually improve conditions for Black Americans.
