I believe this can happen:

1. It will be announced just before the game that Devin White suspension was reviews after appeals and was lifted and he is allowed to play the full game against Bama.
2. The reason for that is that even if they have already decided to let him play they do not want all the media backlash that comes with it for a week. If they let him play media will take it easier on them.
3. They will further decide that there will be a panel which which will further review the targeting review process and the penalty associated with targeting.

Don't care what the pundits say. Don't even care what Paul Finebaum says.......LSU is going to pull this one off. Bama going down.

The only thing that could possibly happen, and it’s less than a ten percent chance, is the ncaa decides to temporarily stay the extra game suspension rule pending further review and discussion in the off season. That would mean Devin White along with any player in cfb currently serving a targeting suspension could play their next game. It would also mean you can target like hell in the last quarter.

More likely...the college football world is introduced to Patrick Queen.

Dont believe it will happen.

Did anyone ever hear anything on whether the LSU or SEC could or would seek NCAA review of the call. Supposedly this is a NCAA rule that the conferences can use. It would look really shitty on the SEC if the option is out there to be used in this case and they refused.

An earlier poster had a great idea that if the SEC refused to kick it up to the NCAA then Alleva should have a short press conference or press release and tell the public that they refused.

How bad will it suck to get bama rematched in playoffs like on 2011?
