This and like 10 other things on our team. Analytics can't explain why Kershaw sucks in October. But anyone with a pair of eyes can see it. Playoff baseball is a different animal and what works in the regular season has to be adapted to what is happening in front of your face in October.

Analytics don't explain Dave's stubbornness at times though. He has an uncanny ability to stick to players that look like shite and leave or remove hot ones though. Analytics don't explain why he left Darvish on the mound to die in a Game 7, going to Madson not once, not twice, but three times, and giving Kike plate appearances over and over and over again when he looks like he belongs in the minors he's so lost at the plate.

Cora fricking schooled Roberts and my only hope is that we learned a lesson because we need big changes.
