LSU does not need help with SOS. Win and you are in, it's really that simple.

Does this really matter anymore? Win and we're in.

I wonder if it's possible that fans may not overreact to the schedule in the future.

Not as bad as the other top 10 team's opponents have hurt theirs.

Team was way overrated. They had no business being in the top 10

That's good stuff, Ree. I missed that the first time around.

Good point. It might play a role in a bowl game minimally, but not in the playoff. We have to win the SEC period.

It's still a quality win over an opponent that had a good season last year and has a quality head coach. Miami had everything in the world to play for in that game with realistic aspirations of a conference title and a possible CFP spot. LSU completely demoralized that team.

The record doesn’t really reflect what was expected. This team was picked by some to go 7-5 and now are solidly a 9-3 team with the fall of AU and Miami. Big disappointments.
Heck, MSU isn’t really all that good either from what we saw last week. They cannot pass at all even when their receivers are open. We will get a gauge of how good they are (and we are) when Texas AM plays them tomorrow. If Texas AM beats them soundly, it might mean we are in for a tough game in College Station. They lost to Bama and Clemson in both hard fought games. Granted, it was before Clemson turned it on in the last few weeks and Bama was still sorting out things to a certain extent.
There is still a tough road ahead, but these types of losses by Miami and Auburn will make LSU less attractive for bowl games to some extent.

The Miami fans who believed Malik Rossier was much improved were as naive as us LSU fans believing the same thing about Jordan Jefferson. He is an absolutely awful QB.

Rosier is bad which I was saying in the run up to the LSU game, but his OL is even worse. He had no time to throw and they couldn't run either.

Yea, no they won’t.

Neither auburn. We need Georgia to win.
