Kids today playing neighborhood football

I guess some of the local kids were out of school today for some reason and they were playing football in the front yard - one of the kids kept calling “horse collar” penalty. I just shook my head. Who calls penalties on neighborhood football? Lol

My neighborhood was on the cutting edge of getting rid of kick offs to decrease injuries.

Always had problems with ineligible receivers downfield. Everybody thought they could catch a td on that automatic hut

Yes indeed. It seems like up until we were about 16 or 17 we played tackle and eventually played flag. We just getting to big big and too many trips for broken arms

The only penalty we ever called was pass interference and it had to be pretty egregious.
