We already had a woman in court locally whose first name was "Diarrea." It was mispronounced once as it was properly pronounced "Dee-air-ree-ah".

40+ years ago my secretary told me of a girl born the same day as her daughter was named Placenta.
The mother told her it was the first thing she heard after the birth and she thought it was beautiful...

I took wood shop in high school with a Mr. Carpenter, and across the hall Mr. Steele taught welding. Amazing coincidence to be at the same school.

Dr. Cockburn did a vasectomy reversal on me some time ago. I scheduled everything over the phone, and they always pronounced his name "Co-Burn". LMAO when I pulled up to his office and saw "Cockburn" on the door!
