With the recent improvement/availability of Alexander and Shelvin, any chance we go 4-2-5

I know you feel like you really understand football schemes by saying "4-2-5"...but no.

Having less Linebackers only works if you have very very talented linebackers. LSU does but they are not experienced in running that type of defense.

Would not make any sense for Aranda to change up the base layout that the majority of the defense has been in the whole season...for the biggest game of the year.

But if he does, im on board because thats why he gets paid the big bucks.

Tyga,

I didn’t realize we could only play one formation.

Sorry to offend you by discussing football on a football board. And no, I am not an expert, but wanted to discuss it and didn’t see a thread discussing it.

But you sound like an awesome guy. Have a great day.

Ok so you think OPs dumb. Got it.

But then:

So basically you ruin your whole argument cuz you clarify to say that you would like the same idea from a person with more cred.

If it was truly a dumb idea, it would be dumb no matter who presented it.

Basically you think it’s a good idea but aren’t sure if we could implement it in time. Just say that next time.

I think a 3-3-5 would work better and keep shifting alignments. Would really confuse Tua. Flashback to the 97 florida game. Would take some monster balls from the coaching staff to go for this.
