No, no we don't.

Their only weakness is the secondary.

Their only weakness is the secondary.

1. Alabama has the worst run defense they have had in almost a decade.
2018: 907 rushing yards (3.54 ypc) in 8 games
2017: 1326 yards (2.72 ypc) in 14 games
2016: 959 yards (2.01 ypc) in 15 games
2015: 1136 yards (2.43 ypc) in 15 games
2014: 1434 yards (3.17 ypc) in 14 games
2013: 1381 yards (3.32 ypc) in 13 games
2012: 1069 yards (2.43 ypc) in 14 games
2011: 938 yards (2.43 ypc) in 13 games

In 8 games against a terrible schedule, they have given up similar rushing yards as some teams gave up in full seasons.

2. Alabama's secondary, they are currently ranked 52nd in the country. And the best QB they have played against was Kellen Mond...

3. Alabama's rush offense. They have had one running back go for 100+ yards all season, and they have faced 6 defenses ranked outside the top 90. The only defense they have faced inside the top 50 (Texas A&M), they ran for only 108 yards on 30 carries. LSU has two backs with more rushing yards than their leading rusher, and LSU has played some of the best rush defenses in college football.

4. Alabama's special teams. One of their kickers has made 66% of his kicks, the other 50%, with four extra points missed. Their punter is near last in average punt distance (18 punts, 34 yards per punt).

If I had to guess you have not watched much, if any, Alabama football all year, and you look at only the final score of their games. Their QB is better, but they are worse at virtually every other position this year.

Just a reminder, they have played:
2-5 Louisville
2-6 Arkansas
3-4 ULL
3-4 Tennessee
4-3 Arkansas State
4-3 Missouri
5-3 Ole Miss
5-2 Texas A&M

Not true, they look as soft on the center of the D-line as I've seen a Saban Bama team. They are #33 in rush defense, #29 in pass defense.

As a comparison, LSU is #26 in rush defense, Moo State #19, Miami #11. Moo and Miami also have better pass defenses than Bama.

The biggest issue will be can we stop their offense, because they still have a really good defense and we don't exactly have a quick score, high powered offense.

In that case LSU's weakness is their secondary as well.

LSU has 12 INT's on the season, Bama 10, and Bama has faced far better passing teams than LSU. In fact, three of the top four in conference play.

Pass efficiency defense:
Bama 10
LSU 14

Again, against better offenses.

LSU has given up over 200 more yards than Bama in the air. Bama has given up five more TD's through the air but conversely LSU has given up four more rushing TD's.

Facts reflect Bama has a better defense.

Question is will our wide receivers have time to reach their secondary?
