Weather may have played a part in last night's offense. But last night wasn't the only game this year where the offense looked lost for long periods of time.

When did they look "lost"? They looked conservative and dare I say Miles-esque.

It was more the opponent than the weather - Fitz simply wasn't going to drive the ball 80 yards on us, and was handing out the football like Halloween candy.

When we played OM in the rain, we were forced to stay aggressive because they have a competent if inconsistent QB and a few stud receivers.

I'm a Tiger fan through and through but why are so many people opposed to addmiting when we are truly an underdog? It's okay to admit a dam team is good. You don't have to run for it, hell if anything wouldn't it be better to say we are playing the best team in college so if we do beat them we can say we beat the best?

To sit here and act like we have the advantage is fricking dumb. Be Realistic. They have a much better offense and their defensive front is much better than our line, quit the kyin2g and comfort talk. Look at facts and then look for ways to improve and do better in the areas we are better at. You think the coaches are filling the players heads with bull shite like "o they aren't that good"
Get the frick out of here, they are men and are gonna be forward and real.

Can LSU win ? Of course
Is it gonna be easy ? Nope
Are the cards stacked vs lsu? Big time

If you think for a second we are gonna run through them then you are in for a very long Saturday come gameday.

Personally I think it's either a blowout by Bama or a 3 point win for us.

Well said.

They will pick on Battle all game. He will cost us this game. Saban is the master of attacking a teams weakness. Mullen is very good at this also.

I love Burrow. But Tua is the best quarterback I have seen in a long time if not ever. Dude is a freak.

The biggest difference is that our wide receivers can read and at least 2 of theirs are documented to be illiterate.

Their only weakness is the secondary.

In that case LSU's weakness is their secondary as well.

LSU has 12 INT's on the season, Bama 10, and Bama has faced far better passing teams than LSU. In fact, three of the top four in conference play.

Pass efficiency defense:
Bama 10
LSU 14

Again, against better offenses.

LSU has given up over 200 more yards than Bama in the air. Bama has given up five more TD's through the air but conversely LSU has given up four more rushing TD's.

Facts reflect Bama has a better defense.

Damn near the entire first half last night. it was a 7-3 ballgame and LSU had somewhere around 20 to 25 yards of offense with just over 4 minutes left in the half.

That's not being "conservative", that's flat out sucking offensively. And they have done something similar in damn near every game so far this season.

I think Bama is poised now more than in years to rout LSU. LSU is thin at D-line and has not had any pressure on the QB since Chaisson’s injury. No pressure means a lot of long completions to WRs and lots of TDs.

The LSU offense is woefully inconsistent. It will not keep up with Gump scoring. Barring Divine intervention, LSU has little chance e.g. Tua leaving early with an injury.

The question is how badly LSU will lose. A one loss LSU probably goes to the playoffs, but the UF hiccup took care of that.

Just how it is.
