Our scheme is fine, but look at some facts.
Out QB just arrived in the Summer. He's done great, but next year he should have it down.
Look at our TB. Brand new, both are scrappers; however, neither guy is in the mold of recent backs who were all NFL bound.
Look at the WR crew. They are really just coming around. We had no returning impact kids here. They will improve even more especially the two freshmen.
TE, we have one and it's known we'd like to play two. We are lacking here and need Pettigrew back and more help here.
I see the potential to be really good in time as kids improve and we recruit.

I agree, this team is a year early. 2019 with almost everyone returning and the coaching staff remaining stable, look out! LSU should open the 2019 preseason #1 or #2
