I think you’re missing my point. The government shouldn’t “claim” anything. If government starts defining gender, they will define anything. You can’t claim to defend liberty if you aren’t consistent about it.

What is murder? It has a specific definition and varying degrees which are defined.
What is robbery versus burglary and are they mutually exclusive?
Laws contain definitions by default.
The consistency comes exactly from govt. setting established definitions.
Liberty? What is that without a definition?

Unfortunately we are infested with such a large number of the ignorant that we have to have definitions to everything, else people will be saying "You can't arrest me, I'm a tree."

So a person can’t claim defense of liberty if they want to prevent Bill the pedo from using the same bathroom as a 6 year old girl? What about the 6 year old’s liberty?

The only reason government is involved is due to the fact these mentally ill people calling themselves TRANS are screaming for equal rights and nonsense... They aren't equal. They cut that off!!! If it weren't for that, the government wouldn't be involved. Quit pushing you homo lives on everyone and live your life and us ours!
