Ummmm, are you seriously saying the healthcare industry lacks govt intervention?
It is by an order of magnitude the most regulated industry on the planet. Like 40% of Americans get their health insurance through the government

ok there, Skippy. Government has been all up in that shite for decades. When you go to a restaurant with a deep pocketed friend who says "I've got the tab," and there are no prices on the menu, what happens to the bill? Is it more or less than when you order alone?
We can look at absolutely every area of the economy that the government steps in to and see the exact same thing. College tuition is just one example. Explain to me how government intervention has not sent tuition skyrocketing.
